SPLAT, our intermediate kit, is a hand-and-rod puppet. It provides a good mid level challenge for casual fabricators who want to test their capabilities without feeling overwhelmed. Learn how to sew and work with foam to create a shaped puppet. Recommended for 12 and up.

Kit Includes:
- One folder containing patterns and instructions
- One cut of of poly fleece or Nylafleece™
- One sheet of ½” polyfoam
- One bag of fiberfill
- One piece of XLPE foam
- One sheet of heavyweight chipboard
- One piece of black felt
- One length of 1" elastic
- One piece of duck cloth
- One pair of safety eyes
- One spool of thread
- Three sewing needles
You will also need:
- A pencil or chalk in a contrasting color to your fabric
- A permanent felt marker (e.g. - a Sharpie)
- Sharp scissors
- Glue (we recommend contact cement like Weldwood or Barge, but hot glue is an acceptable alternative)
- Duct tape
- A thumbtack or something to poke holes in the chipboard
- Sewing Machine (OPTIONAL)
- Heavy duty wire hanger (OPTIONAL)
